Appointment PoliciesTo schedule an appointment, call the office at 303-690-4891 and our automated attendant will help direct you to our appointment desks. We see patients by scheduled appointment in order to minimize the amount of time you may have to wait in the office. If you must cancel your appointment, we would appreciate a 24 hour notice so that time may be made available for other patients. A fee will be assessed for any appointment that is not cancelled or rescheduled 24 hours prior. If you are more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, your doctor will determine if time still allows for you to be seen. Family medicine is full of unpredictable situations such as emergencies and unexpected patient needs. If we are unable to see you at your scheduled time, every effort will be made to accommodate your needs. We respect the value of your time and we will do our best to stay on schedule. Calling Our OfficeIf you have a question or concern that is not an emergency, please call during routine office hours. When you call with a concern (303-690-4891), our automated attendant will help direct your call to the appropriate department. If you are calling with a medical concern for your doctor to address such as a change in symptoms, our staff will take a message for the doctor. When your doctor is not seeing patients, he/she will review your concern and instruct a trained Medical Assistant on how to proceed. Your doctor’s Medical Assistant will then contact you with your doctor’s instructions/response. Please contact your pharmacy for any prescription refills prior to requesting a refill from our office. Your pharmacy will often have approval for multiple refills. Emergency / After Hours PoliciesIf you have a life threatening emergency, call 911 immediately. If you have an emergency for our office that cannot wait for a same day appointment, call our office at 303-690-4891 and press 6 for the emergency line. One of our physicians is available 24 hours a day, every day, to address any emergencies you might encounter. Our answering service will contact our doctor if you are calling with an urgent/emergent need after office hours. We will not be prescribing medications or refilling medications after hours. Please call with any medication requests during regular office hours.
